She was born in Bar, Montenegro, where she completed lower music school. She then attended the “Vasa Pavić” Secondary Music School in Podgorica, completing two departments: theoretical studies and solo singing. She continued her education at the Music Academy in Cetinje, completing the theoretical department, and then enrolled in the Music Academy in Sarajevo, studying solo singing under the guidance of prima donna Professor Radmila Bakočević. She earned her master’s degree in solo singing in 2013, in the class of Mr. Aleksandra Ristić.
She has an extensive performance career, with numerous solo concerts in Montenegro and abroad. Notable performances include concerts in Moscow (Pavel Slobodkin Hall on Arbat Street), the Expo in Milan, Istanbul, Sarajevo, Skopje, Zagreb (Glazbeni Zavod and Mimara), Rijeka (Filodrammatica), Pula, HNK Split, Ljubljana, and Belgrade.
She has collaborated with renowned ensembles such as the Montenegro Symphony Orchestra under the baton of the famous opera conductor Miroslav Homen, and the Mediterranean Orchestra conducted by Radovan Papović.
Aleksandra Vojvodić Jovović recorded a CD titled “Korijeni”, featuring Montenegrin songs arranged in a new-age style. Together with colleague Aleksandar Basarab, she arranged Montenegrin songs for voice, piano, and flute. She has also performed with the trio “Gracije”. In Moscow, within the framework of the international competition “V.A. Lemeshev”, she held masterclasses for competition participants.
She served as the longtime director of the Music School “Petar II Petrović Njegoš” in Bar. Currently, she works as a solo singing professor at the lower music school “Petar II Petrović Njegoš” in Bar and at the Secondary School for Music Talents “Andre Navara” in Podgorica, where her students achieve notable results at numerous competitions.
