Biljana Kuzmanović was born in 1982 in Novi Sad. She began her musical education at the Primary Music School “Josip Slavenski” in the class of Prof. Galina Subotin. She then continued her studies at the Music School “Isidor Bajić,” where she completed two departments simultaneously – theoretical and instrumental (tambura). She graduated in 2006 from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, Department of General Music Pedagogy.
Awards and Recognitions
During her education, she achieved outstanding results at numerous competitions. Among her most notable accomplishments are:
Double Laureate (national and federal competitions) in 1998
Laureate of the “Ljuben Ilijev” Festival (2000) at the First Festival of Artistic Tambura, with the maximum score of 100 points
First Prize at the Festival of Music and Ballet Schools of Serbia
Pedagogical Work
Since 2001, students from her class have won more than 70 top awards (first and second prizes) at prominent national and international competitions.

Artistic and Conducting Experience
In addition to her pedagogical work, she is actively engaged in arranging and conducting tambura ensembles. She has led the tambura orchestra of the Primary Music School “Josip Slavenski” and has made a significant contribution to preserving tradition through her work with amateur ensembles, such as the Tambura School “Kovilj” and JKPD “Jelačić” in Petrovaradin. She is currently employed at the Music School “Isidor Bajić” in Novi Sad, at the newly established tambura department.
