Nikolina Suvajdzic took her first musical steps in her hometown of Kikinda, where she completed her primary music education, and later continued her secondary music studies in Zrenjanin. At the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, she was admitted to the class of Professor Gordan Tudor. During her undergraduate studies, she further developed her artistic expression under the mentorship of Professor Nikola Fabijanić, who at one point took over the saxophone class at the Academy. She successfully completed her Master’s degree in saxophone with the same professor, with the assistance of Professor Gabor Bunford.
She is employed as a saxophone teacher and Head of the Wind Department at the Elementary Music School “Slobodan Malbaški” in Kikinda. Over the past two and a half years, since establishing her saxophone class, she has achieved remarkable pedagogical results. Her students regularly win top prizes at prestigious national and international competitions, including the National Competition of ZMBSŠ and UMBPS, the Saxperience Competition (Belgrade), Sirmium Music Fest (Sremska Mitrovica), and FIB in Novi Sad.
Throughout her professional development, Nikolina has collaborated with numerous distinguished artists and pedagogues, including members of the Signum Quartet, Vitaly Vatulya, Vincent David, Nicolas Arsenijević, Eva Barthas, and others.
Her artistic and pedagogical philosophy is based on a harmonious blend of expressiveness, contemporary teaching methods, and sincere dedication to the development of young talents, fostering generations of musicians capable of achieving notable artistic accomplishments.
