Bruno Francesco Leone

Born in Melito di Porto Salvo (RC) in 1994, he began studying piano at the age of 5. In 2013, he obtained his Piano Diploma (old system) with full marks, honors, and special mention at the “F. Cilea” Conservatory of Music in Reggio Calabria under the guidance of Maestro Cinzia Dato.
He continued his musical studies at the International Piano Academy “Incontri col Maestro” in Imola (BO) with maestros Leonid Margarius, Boris Petrushansky, and Roberto Giordano, and refined his skills in piano courses held by maestros Leslie Howard, Aldo Ciccolini, Marcello Abbado, Daniel Ri-vera, Giuseppe Devastato, among others. Additionally, he earned a Master’s Degree in Musicology and Cultural Heritage from the Department of Musicology at the University of Pavia and a Second-Level Academic Diploma in Wind Orchestra Instrumentation at the “G. Verdi” Conservatory of Milan. He is currently pursuing a Second-Level Academic Diploma in Orchestral Conducting at the “L. Ma-renzio” Conservatory of Brescia under the guidance of maestros Pierangelo Pelucchi and Pier Carlo Orizio.
He is currently a piano professor at the “A. Scarlatti” Conservatory in Palermo.

He has won over 30 national and international music competitions, including the “St. Petersburg International Piano Competition” in St. Petersburg (Russia), the “Grand Prize Virtuoso” in Vienna (Austria), the “G. Campochiaro” Prize in Pedara (CT), the “San Francesco di Paola Prize” (CS), the “Benedetto Albanese Prize” in Caccamo (PA), the “La Vallonea International Competition” in Tricase (LE), the “Rocky Mountain International Music Competition” in Toronto (Canada), the “Medici Inter-national Music Competition” in London (UK), the “Royal Sound Music Competition” in Montreal (Ca-nada), among others.

He regularly performs as a soloist, in chamber ensembles, and with orchestras. He has played at major festivals and concert halls, including the International Festival “I Fiori della Musica” and the “Baretti” Theater in Turin, “Le Ciminiere” Theater in Catania, “F. Cilea” Theater in Reggio Calabria, “Amici del Loggione del Teatro alla Scala” in Milan, “G. In 2024, his CD titled “Journey to St. Petersburg” was released under the “KNS Classical” record label. The album was reviewed in the June 2024 issue of Amadeus magazine and received a five-star rating for its artistic quality.
